About Us

Classic gaming modules for your campaign.

DUNGEONEERS GUILD GAMES creates role-playing game products for fans of classic fantasy. All DGG products are designed to evoke the look and feel of the classic Dungeons & Dragons modules of the early and mid-1980s. They can easily be adapted to most fantasy role-playing games, including the Advanced Second Edition game, the original game, the B/X or BECMI (“Basic”) games, old-school renaissance (OSR) role-playing systems, and other game systems.

All DUNGEONEERS GUILD GAMES modules incorporate the following design principles:

  • First Edition Ethos: Fans of the Advanced First Edition role‑playing game will readily recognize and appreciate these modules. Their layout and format adhere to the conventions of classic module design, capturing the stylistic and structural qualities of the original era.

  • Unobtrusive Plot: Each Dungeoneers Guild Games module presents a narrative framework within which player characters engage in a distinct scenario that unfolds during gameplay. The settings possess rich histories, and the antagonists feature well‑defined personalities and clear motivations. Nevertheless, every module affords the Game Master substantial latitude to modify or adapt the plot as needed.

  • DM-Centered Play: With a flexible setting and no rigid storyline, Dungeoneers Guild Games modules promote maximum freedom of play. They impose no predetermined adventure hooks, allowing both players and the Dungeon Master to approach the narrative as they choose. Nor do they require pre‑plotted milestones for completion. Instead, plot seeds, detailed locations, and dynamic environments enable the DM to shape the adventure’s events, pacing, and overall flow.
